    Corporate Chief Ambassadors were officially appointed at the Abilympics Malaysia Festival 2025 launch at KL Wellness City Gallery, rallying corporate and community support behind the movement.

    Roadshow at Sungei Wang Plaza — honorary patron appointed

    At a public roadshow at Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, Abilympics Malaysia announced the appointment of Y.M. Tengku Dato' Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi Bin Y.A.M. Tengku Azman Shah Al-Haj as honorary patron — part of the national awareness and talent-identification programme on the road to Helsinki 2027.

    An Abilympics awareness campaign was held at Majlis Kebajikan dan Pembangunan Masyarakat Kebangsaan Malaysia (MAKPEM), carrying the movement to the national welfare community.

    Conference on Advancing Disability Rights through the Jakarta Declaration

    MCR hosted a conference at the Wyndham Grand Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur focused on advancing disability rights through the Jakarta Declaration — connecting Malaysia's Abilympics movement to the wider regional disability-rights agenda.

    Abilympics Roadshow reaches Sabah

    The Abilympics Roadshow brought the national programme to East Malaysia, with a recycled-art workshop (Bengkel Seni Lukis Kitar Semula) held at the Sabah State Library in Kota Kinabalu alongside state welfare leadership and MCR trainers.

    Welcome home, Abilympians

    Malaysia's 16 Abilympians returned from the 10th International Abilympics in Metz with 1 Silver, 2 Bronze and 2 Excellence Awards — results in Painting & Waste Reuse, Cake Decoration, Restaurant Services and Embroidery.
