Giving once or monthly, and how every ringgit is accounted for.

How do I donate?: The secure donation flow opens at campaign launch. You will be able to give once or monthly, from RM30 to any custom amount.
Can I donate monthly until Helsinki?: Yes. Monthly giving until the event is planned, with the ability to cancel any time. Details open with the donation flow.
Is my donation tax-deductible?: We will publish tax-deductibility status once the relevant approval is confirmed. Until then we make no claim.
Where does my money go?: Flights, accommodation, registration, training, equipment, accessibility, insurance and team logistics — reported transparently against the approved budget.
How do I know the totals are real?: Every total comes from verified payment records and is separated into received versus committed. We never display unconfirmed figures.
Can I support a specific need?: Yes — fund-a-need options such as Fly Team Malaysia, Train a Champion and Equip a Champion are part of the campaign.
What happens if the campaign exceeds its goal?: The overfunding policy will be published before donations open, so you know exactly where surplus funds go before you give.

The event, the team and why funding is needed.

What is Helsinki 2027?: The International Abilympics — the world stage for professional skill competitions for persons with disabilities — takes place in Helsinki, Finland on 10–13 May 2027.
Who selects Team Malaysia?: Competitors are selected through the national programme in relationship with the Malaysian Council for Rehabilitation. Selection details will be published once confirmed.
Why is funding required?: An international cycle demands training, materials, flights, accommodation, registration, insurance and delegation support. The campaign exists to fund exactly that.

How companies and their people can back the team.

Can my company partner with Team Malaysia?: Yes. Cash, in-kind, fund-a-need, employee giving, skills and matching models are all available. See the partnership page.
Can companies sponsor in kind?: Yes — in-kind support such as equipment, travel, services or expertise is a recognised partnership model alongside cash sponsorship.
Can employees fundraise?: Yes. Employee giving and matching campaigns are part of the partnership options — a way for a whole workforce to back Team Malaysia.
